Chronic Fatigue Syndrome – my story

I want to tell you my Chronic Fatigue Story. Back in 1988/89 I did extensive traveling as a consultant and was installing/upgrading system equipment in field offices for a large insurance company. I was gone 42 out of 52 weeks, but home 2 days each week. I literally lived on planes and in hotels. It was fun, but I am glad it is over, too!

I got married in 1990 and within 6 months I was not feeling well at all. During that time I was an avid dancer of tap, jazz and ballet. I went to the doctor with a health form to join a health club. Endometriosis/CFS – Kristy’s story

August 2005 – In August 2005 I was 24yrs old, id been married less than a year, and was working casual nights as a nurse. This is when I first became unwell; it started suddenly but I suspect my health had been deteriorating for a while unnoticed.

I remember when it started well, because my niece had been born only a week before.  I’d been diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 17yrs old; it had caused me problems as a teenager, needing regular days off once a month from school, but it had been well managed with medication since it was diagnosed.
