It’s a fine line, do I have the flu or is this just a flare up of my condition?

The strength of people continues to amaze me, when tested we show our true strength, and the chronic illness community is full of very strong admirable people.

Sending out a huge thank you to everyone out there who has in their own small way shown me how amazing people can be :)

Often, when we ask for or need help, it’s not so much because of the effort it would take to do something but because of how poorly we do things.. We’re clumsy & can’t keep tho’ts straight which is why I managed to spill pea soup on my computer, the carpet & the new-to-us sofa (1st furniture we’ve owned in years) yesterday. Due to my inability to use strong cleaning solutions, everything’s still green! My poor hunny’s reaction was that I shouldn’t cry (no doubt since I seldom do) but I just needed to cry 1st this time before I could laugh. The hard thing to explain is that it’s not what’s happened that’s upsetting but the unfair & harsh reminder of how incapable I am anymore. Thanx for letting me rant.. ^_^

I’m tired of being the ant at the bottom of the dog-pile. It’s overwhelming to finally have a good day dancing under a shade tree, only to have some lousy football player (illness) land on top of me, followed by another, and another, and another. Right now I’m forgetting…. How’s an ant supposed to carry all that weight and still dance?

I have been really sick all week, it has been incredibly frustrating. After having an iron infusion last week I wasn’t expecting to still be very sick a week later.

…fortunately miracles do happen, and after such a terrible week this rant is not so much a rant, I am feeling much better today, very clear headed.
